The Tuesday Special Recap & Playlist – Mental Health with @Niquewxg

Every week after the live broadcast of The Tuesday Special, I will be posting a quick description of the show as well as the tracks that were played. I strongly encourage listeners to explore the tracks and even delve deeper into the artists’ bodies of work.

This week my guest co-host, Nique, and I focused on the topic of mental health and how it is viewed in society as well as reflected in hip-hop music. Each track played was chose specifically because of its relation to the scope of coping with, understanding or candidly speaking on mental health. While there are countless tracks that fall in this category, we thought this was a great place to start.

Thank you again to Nique for his openness in discussing his experiences with depression, anxiety and PTSD as well as the importance of addressing mental health issues, seeking help and finding ways to stay strong at the most difficult times.
