“Through film and photography, I am able to offer a view of my world while sharing dreams and experiences of others.”

Drew ‘Risky Cereal’ Evans was born in Hollywood California  and raised in South Central L.A. during a time of thriving beauty and extreme violence. Drew noticed early  that he was good at taking photos and dreaming up movie ideas, which led him to be the guy behind the polaroid at family events. Drew attended Serra High School then went on to receive a  BA in Mass Communications in TV Production  from Grambling State University. After graduation Drew  returned  home to L.A. and  immersed himself in the arts and music scene. After working in the music and  clothing industry Drew moved to Houston TX and was gifted what a lot of people don’t receive , an opportunity to  return to his love Film and Photography and he hasn’t looked back since.

When Risky moved to Houston, Texas in 2005, he quickly established himself as a music manager, creating the production company, Milky Wayv, which led to the rise of artists like Indie label Stone Throw’s, Peyton. Maintaining his fashion and music and film experience, he began to produce and direct much of the music videos and short films for his production company.

By 2016, Risky was working with  Amazon series writers, educational documentary short creators, and creating personal artistic expressions through photography and  film.

Risky has fused all of his work through co-hosting and DJ’ng the Tre Brew Morning Show on All Real Radio.com, where he is able to funnel all of his links to bring the Los Angeles, Houston, and World connection. He currently resides in 3rd Ward- Houston. His community and world view forces his audience to question their own views through simplistic, artful, thoughtful mixed mediums. He is currently working on film and radio projects and continues to collaborate and bring forth his own ideas through film, music, and fashion.

ALL REAL RADIO’S STORY

Our early history is rooted in the story of our co-founder, Zin. Zin was a true 3rd Ward- Houston artivist who helped set the stage of what community wants and needs to thrive; He was a humble and powerful Man who exemplified standards and Black/ Indigenous pride beautifully. Zin knew his history and loved the culture of Afrika, American Blackness, and that of the 3rd Ward Community. Those that knew Zin, also knew that he was a healer and mentor. Men, women, and children sought him when they needed upliftment, truth, a good story, advice, and when they had forgotten that, through their ancestry, they stand on the shoulders of giants. Zin could smile at you, poke fun at you, gift you, hug you, and invigorate you.

That feeling and truth continues to permeate in everything that All Real Radio does through music, shows, events, and collaborations.

We are proud to say that we have upheld a space online, and in the spaces where we have physically occupied, that provides safety, ease, and comfort for all who visit. We have hosted over 30 different shows over our 9 plus years that embody the hip hop and conscious culture that exists within Houston for Black, Indigenous, and original people of color. We have brought entrepreneurs closer to their goals, we have helped pack events for singers and songwriters, and have worked with those in higher education and within communities to tell stories of perseverance, resilience, ancestry and success.

All Real Radio continues with the foundation that Zin set forth and with the daily work of deniz, her business partner, Andrew Edwards Evans, an incredible photographer/ videographer and mentor, and those like minded individuals that seek to create a socially responsible city and World via our online airwaves.
